In a thrilling match, the goals came late: Pogoń Szczecin opened the scoring with Efthymis Koulouris in the 75th minute, but Wisła turned the tide with two late strikes. Eneko Satrustegui equalized in the 90+9th minute, followed by Angel Rodado’s winning goal in the 93rd minute.

Both teams battled fiercely, with several players receiving yellow cards. The match was officiated by Tomasz Kwiatkowski, drawing a crowd of 47,506 spectators.

Pogoń, currently seventh in the league standings, aimed for their first Polish Cup victory but fell short. Wisła, on the other hand, with a rich history in the competition, clinched their fifth title.
Despite Pogoń's early lead, Wisła dominated the second half, eventually turning the game in their favor. The match saw intense action, with both teams pushing for victory until the final whistle. Following the game, the trophy presentation took place on the pitch, with Polish Football Association president Cezary Kulesza among those in attendance. The winners received half of the 10 million zlotys (about €1.3 mln) prize pool and secured a spot in the eliminations for the UEFA Europa League.
